Synopsis

Who are you? Which one are you? In our most secret, our... darkest antechambers, we know ourselves to be one or the other.

Dirty Juanita takes you inside a unique situation of domestic violence, not between spouses or lovers, but between two roommates. Cameron and Mickey move to New York City and have to sink or swim in an unfamiliar place without their old support systems. Enter Tina, an office worker who is confident about everything except her own body. She is quickly drawn into their insular world and made witness to and participant in the disintegration of their relationship, which escalates to violence. Dirty Juanita asks the question: when are we abusers, and when are we the abused - and how quickly can we change from one to the other?
